James Bishop CMgr

James Bishop CMgr is National Digital Technology Manager at SES Engineering Services. Introduced in the presentation as Digital Technology Manager, he described responsibility for bringing technology platforms into the business and helping the team get value from them, working closely with Digital Development and Digital Standards.

His contribution connected the practical Morta work to SES’s wider business strategy. He explained how experience on Ministry of Justice schemes developed into broader design-management work and an enterprise agreement. He also described engagement with just over 440 people while shaping the TIDP tool around operational and business needs.

James set out the thinking behind the governance dashboard, including its use of synced project and member data, form responses and six linked tables. He used the dashboard for training and to explore Morta’s chart functionality. His account emphasised helping planners, site teams and business functions apply digital processes in their own work.
