What are your privacy controls?

Your data is your own. You can export, edit, control, and delete your data. You can also set passwords and two-factor authentication for your account, and can delete your account at any time. Morta does not share or sell your data, and all data is encrypted both in-transit and at-rest.

What is your data residence and governance policy?

Morta hosts it’s services and stores data in the London, United Kingdom. Our data governance program allows users to export and delete data, and we provide APIs to export data for all customers.

Does Morta provide real-time and historical platform status?

How does Morta handle authentication?

Morta provides a wide range of authentication methods, such as Sign-in with Google, Sign-in with Microsoft, and Basic authentication with 2-factor.

What security features are offered in product?

Users can set advanced policies to govern their users, hubs, documents and tracjers. These include an authentication policy for users and external sharing policies for hubs, documents and trackers. Morta also allows users to view and manage licenses and see all user activity in their hubs.

How does Morta keep the application secure?

Our secure development lifecycle program is integrated into every phase of our software development process to continuously produce secure software. Examples include annual security training for all employees, threat modeling as part of the design process, and static code analysis tools.

What are Morta's infrastructure security principles?

Morta is built with well-established security principles, including Defense in Depth, Least Privileges, and Attack Surface Area Reduction. Morta also follows Google Cloud Platform (GCP) best practices for network security. Furthermore, we log audit events and security information at each layer of our infrastructure and carefully monitor these logs for any signs of suspicious activity.

Does Morta encrypt data?

Yes Morta uses Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) to encrypt user data in transit and the AES-256 symmetric encryption algorithm to encrypt customer data at rest.
