Carpgiane Dos Santos presented at MortaTurns6 as Digital Construction Manager at McLaughlin & Harvey. His contribution focused on checking model data, communicating the results and collecting information for asset handover.
He explained why the team retained its established Solibri checking mechanisms while using Morta to share results with subcontractors and consultants. The reports showed checked information, inclusion and exclusion requirements, and suggestions for correcting problems. Teams could use a hub they already had access to.
Carpgiane also showed bespoke asset registers in Morta and views through which subcontractors entered manufacturer and design information directly. Regular-expression checks supported that data collection. His Power BI example tracked changes across model revisions so the team could recognise stalled corrections and offer help. He stressed that the simple reporting view depended on substantial work by the team.
