Mark Harrison was introduced as Area Digital Construction Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine during Morta Community Day 2025. He described working as a national resource within the contractor's digital construction team, alongside colleagues delivering projects.
His presentation followed SRM's development of information management workflows from early trials to supported business use. He explained the three-stage process and four review gates used to assess ideas, test builds on projects and prepare templates for wider rollout. His account preserved the option for a useful workflow to remain specific to one project.
Mark also described the shared validation table and project directory supporting multiple functions. For information delivery planning, he set out the importance of sponsor-owned procedures, training material and project super users. His discussion of adoption measures connected hub activity and deployment with resource-specific checks, including delivery-plan coverage against the common data environment.
