Bouygues TP Murphy JV
Bouygues Travaux Publics–Murphy Joint Venture brings the two contractors together for Lower Thames Crossing's Tunnels and Approaches package. Its work with Morta connects project information across the contractor and design teams, with shared definitions supporting their different responsibilities.
Shared project information from the start
The joint venture was awarded the Tunnels and Approaches contract in December 2023. During the project's preliminary phase, the contractor and designer teams built their Morta setup together. By their community presentation, they had used Morta for more than a year and were extending the approach through trained builders in project teams.

The contractor's digital team worked with its design partners to establish shared standards and support teams using the information.
Thibaud Guerrero was introduced as Project Digital Lead for BMJV. He described the move from delivery planning into programme access, consents and procurement, and the importance of teams owning their own work.
