Morta can integrate with external data sources via API to help connect your data.

The data can then be synchronised on a periodic basis (hourly, daily, weekly...) or on demand.


Sharepoint is one of the Common Data Environments (CDE) that Morta integrates with to pull or push metadata.


Examples of how the CDE data pulled can be used include:

  • CDE data validation: ensuring correctness and completeness of attributes as well as naming conventions
  • Deliverables tracking: the output can be cross-matched with the Information Delivery Plan table via table joins to create a progress-tracking mechanism.
  • Synchronising multiple CDEs: Pulling metadata from one main CDE and synchronising documents' attributes and status to help streamline content.
